So we arrived early, hoping to be able to snag a room before check-in time, which I know is dicey at a big resort, but has always paid off for us before. But French Lick is more of an experience, and I'm willing to pay a little for that. ![]() I average $40-50 and think that's about what it's worth, if they throw in breakfast. For me to spend that much on one night in a hotel. I am a Priceline/Hotwire shopper for almost every hotel purchase. But for over $200, I will never stay there again. So after a quick review of the options, we decided this was a good, family-friendly option. Having lived in Indiana for most of my life, and as a family for the last five years, I was kind of embarassed to admit I'd never been to French Lick. We wanted a quick family-friendly getaway for the Thanksgiving weekend for our family of two adults and two small kids (ages 4 and 6).
